Ben Pesenti, the Steinhardt senior who is the main organizer of Sigma Phi Epsilon's event, said the fraternity had wanted to organize a large event on campus that would help the community. Undie Run, a group that organizes underwear runs at college campuses across the country to donate clothes to charitable causes, presented the perfect opportunity to organize a meaningful event, Pesenti said.
Virgin Mobile is sponsoring this year's event.
