Ho Ho Hazing - FAU SigEp chapter suspended.

[UPDATE 9-21-09: More information and a longer article.}

What does it take to get the message out that we are better than this? On the other hand, Why did it take from mid-October until now for the administration to figure out something was wrong?
BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) -- Florida Atlantic University is investigating one of its fraternities over accusations of hazing.

Sigma Phi Epsilon has been suspended from school activities over the alleged Oct. 17 hazing incident. FAU hasn't released any details of the alleged incident but confirmed an investigation is underway.

FAU vice president Charles Brown says he'll "close the chapter down" if the fraternity is found to be at fault.

An official at the Sigma Phi Epsilon headquarters in Virginia says the incident is inconsistent with its values.
We would love to have comments from someone with first hand knowledge of the situation.
