Delta Delta Delta Launches Reflections

TRI DELTA TACKLES WOMEN'S BODY IMAGE ISSUES
WITH FAT TALK FREE WEEK AND REFLECTIONS

Tri Delta is thrilled to launch the first-ever Fat Talk Free Week (Oct 13 - 17), a nationwide event that coincides with the official public debut of Reflections: Body Image Program, Tri Delta's revolutionary body image education and eating disorders prevention program. Tri Delta co-developed Reflections with Carolyn Becker, Ph.D, FAED, of Trinity University, and the local sororities on that campus.

With major partners on board including Seventeen magazine, National Organization for Women (N.O.W.), the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) and the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED), Fat Talk Free Week is a 5-day public awareness campaign that is designed to draw attention to the damaging impact of the "thin ideal" on women in society.
