Thanks to HQ for this notice and link.
Prominent writer and leadership consultant Barry Posner spoke with a small group of Drake administrators and members of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity about the mission based nature of the Greek system during a pre-speech reception held on Thursday, Nov. 31.

Reception guests included Drake President David Maxwell and his wife Madeleine, Drake's own leadership expert Don Adams, professor emeritus in education and vice president of enrollment management and student life; Jan Wise, the director of student leadership programs; Bob Young, the head of the Donald V. Adams Leadership Institute Steering Committee and members of the Iowa Delta chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and representatives of the Sigma Phi Epsilon national office.

"Fraternities and sororities have a great potential to provide a different experience, not necessarily a better or worse experience, here on campus," Posner said. "Players in the Greek system are in a very unique position and have a lot of potential as a mission driven system, it is just that some houses do not realize that opportunity and make the most of it."
