Score one for the Blogteam

We don't like to brag, but...
Apparently someone at the Foundation actually does listen! A few days ago we received this response to a suggestion for more groups on the new Foundation web site.

[WJ], thanks for the feedback. We are getting lots of good ideas from interested alumni. Good ideas on groups. The area alumni pages are granted when they ask, since I have no way of knowing all the groups out there, and as we hear of others, we contact them and ask if they are interested.

Jay, thanks for soliciting feedback from someone as knowledgeable and thoughtful as [WJ].

Laurie, please add private Groups for... District Governors, Chapter Counselors, Order of the Golden Heart, Citation Recipients, Nuts McAuliffe Society. Also, please establish a "How to Set Up a Group" page.

Then today we got another note, this time from the site coordinator...

Mr. [Junky],

I wanted to follow-up with you on the suggestions you made regarding the private groups. We did make the Awards groups, Chapter Counselors, and Nuts McAuliffe Society open groups, however, site members must request membership to be a member of the group. We left the donor level groups private. There is a link elsewhere in the site for visitors and members to view the names of the donors in each of the giving levels.

Thank you again or your feedback!
