Whadda ya want from me? Blood?

St. John's University had a very successful blood drive this year.
In its final blood drive of the year, St. John’s University collected 101 pints of blood and surpassed the 1,000 pint donation mark on its Queens campus for the 2006 calendar year.
Spencer Sydorko, a freshman in the Peter J. Tobin College of Business and resident student from Hamilton, NJ, was presented with token gifts of thanks by the University and New York Blood after being told he had provided the 1,000th pint of blood. A member of Sigma Chi Beta fraternity, Sydorko and other members of his fraternity volunteered at the blood drive before providing the potentially life saving donation. Several other organizations helped with the effort, including Latinas Promoviendo Communidad, Lambda Pi Chi sorority, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Alpha Phi Alpha and Haraya.
