Sig Eps Run Texas Christian SBG

Student Body President and Vice President Are Sig Eps

Jace Thompson '08 is elected President of the Student Body at Texas Christian University. Thomas Pressly '09 also is elected as Vice President of the Student Body. Both will serve terms which start in January 2007 and will run through December 2007.

Brother Thompson was the Vice President of TCU's Student Body in 2006. He was the Texas Gamma VP of Recruitment in 2006 when 40 new members were signed. He was a member of the 2006 Homecoming Court. Jace was the 2004 Winner of the James H. Wood Balanced Man Scholarship. He was also recognized last Spring as the Outstanding Greek Junior. Brother Thompson is from Stephenville, Texas. He completed his Sophomore year with a 3.892 cummulative GPA.

Brother Pressly was also recognized last Spring as the Outstanding Greek Freshman at TCU. Thomas is from Shreveport, LA. He finished his Freshman year with a 3.48 GPA.This is the first time in TCU history that both the Student Body President and Vice President were from the same fraternity.

Texas Gamma is one of 10 national fraternities on the TCU Campus and one of only two without a house. TCU has an undergraduate enrollment of roughly 7000 students. Texas Gamma presently has a manpower of 141. Chapter GPA in the Spring of 2005 was 3.12 (second in overall GPA among fraternities). In addition to campus leaders, Texas Gamma was the overall winner of the Campus Intramurals in 2005-2006 and raised $7500 for Cook's Children's Hospital.
