Sig Ep Rules Tulane Homecoming

Sig Ep Eric Boggs Tulane Homecoming King

For the second time in three years, a Sig Ep has been crowned Homecoming King! Eric Boggs, a senior member of LA Alpha was crowned King at Tulane’s Home Sweet Homecoming this past Saturday. Eric is a Green Wave Ambassador, the president of Tulane Latin American Students Association, the founder of TMAR (Tulane Men Against Rape), a member of IATU (Indian Association of Tulane), an active member of Sig Ep, as well as a Dean’s Honor Scholar at Tulane. Pictures of the event can be seen at Eric’s blog on the Tulane Office of Undergraduate Admission website at: http://blogs.chatuniversity.com/tulane/index.php/eboggs.

Eric’s crowning was the icing on the cake of a fantastic Tulane Family and Alumni weekend. The chapter held its first ever parent and alumni event. Over 100 guests were in attendance at Saturday’s banquet at the J.W. Marriott downtown. Thanks to all who attended to make the event such a success. The weekend celebrated Tulane first Homecoming since Katrina, as well as the 16th anniversary of the re-chartering of Sig Ep on Tulane’s campus. The weekend was a rousing success, and we look forward to next year’s event.
